SyFy original movies and heckling...

*giggle* Yet again, we watched a really cheesy movie on Scifi so we could heckle the screen.

"Hey, it's that "Beyond Sherwood Forest" thing with Robin Dunne."

"Huh - give that guy some head tats and you've got a Prior from Stargate SG1" (husband goes rummaging through IMDB) "Oh, look, he played Anubis - and there's the guy who actually played a Prior."

Me: "Wow - it's a really bad matte-painting of a forest. And really mangy CGI wolves. And apparently they used all their CGI budget on Sanctuary this year..."

Husband: "And they used all the dialogue writing budget too, I'd guess..." (OUCH!)

This is, of course, my husband, who went onto IMDB during the movie to find out that the base set of stunt guys from Stargate (both shows plus Sanctuary) were being used for this, and then he actually looked up the place in which it was filmed. We were right - just outside Vancouver. I thought those trees and ferns looked suspiciously familiar. :)

We have this family running joke about how many actors or locations we can recognize from what we call the "Seacouver" casting department. :) This particular movie was funny, since we spotted at least 8 or 9 folks from SG1/Atlantis...
