fruits and veggies and stiltwalkers?!

Oddities from today's farmer's market -
Two guys on stilts in circus costume wandering around (I think they were advertising something)
The guy in the alley behind the market warming up his flute, and he sounded like Ian Anderson...
The usual drum circle apparently added a guy with a saxophone. Sigh.

I don't know who's counting down the days 'till the end of the school year more - the students or the teachers. And the wildlife is coming to class, too - I've removed a caterpillar, three spiders, and two beetles from my room this week so far. Only one boy helped - I have a lot of bug-squeamish kids this year. There was a yell of "OMG - there's a spider on you" at a kid today and I looked and the teeny thing was about a quarter inch wide. Sheesh.
