Oh! What teams do you like? I only got into watching hockey in the last two years (my husband and kid are thrilled to share that interest with me and my father is just bemused). We're actually going to my first live hockey game in a few weeks and I'm very excited about it! :)

For NHL teams, I go for the Boston Bruins. They are my local team, and doing well now after a terrible start to the season. The cheap tickets are about $160+ each (not including taxes, fees, and parking in Boston), so I've only been to one game.

For the AHL (one level down) I follow the Providence Bruins. I buy ticket bundles for them at the beginning of the season, so it's about $15 total each person to see them. We go see them about a dozen times or so each year.

We also have an ECHL league (Worcester Railers) that plays about 10 minutes away. We seem to be busy on the nights they play, so we haven't seen them much this year, but have plans to go this weekend.

I'm not a sports person, but I really do enjoy hockey, and seeing games live. Which teams do you like?
