Recording project - not hallucinating

songspinnerBest friend (on the phone): "You know that rough mix of the track I sent out this morning?"
Me: "Uh-huh..."
Best friend: "I'm pretty sure you said you didn't have a fever anymore but I wanted to let you know that you weren't hallucinating. That was you on the alto line - we forgot you recorded it last month. So we used it when you missed yesterday's recording session. It was not in fact me doing a good imitation of you."
Me: "Ah - good. I was tired and sort of confused this morning when I heard it."
*sigh* It'll be good to get this project done while we're still excited and motivated.
