Mar. 9th, 2006 11:37 pmGetting ready to teach short-story writing to my students made me really look at what I had in the "not done but I want to finish it" pile. And somehow, I convinced myself last night (along with my husband's constructive criticism and ideas) that I should really send one of my stories in to try to get into the Workshop at Baycon this year. I think I'm going to be busy over the next several weekends...
On a completely unrelated note, my daughter has "kiss radar". If my husband and I start, say, smooching in the kitchen, she somehow notices immediately from the other side of the living room, darts over to us, and demands to be part of the hug. :) It just cracks us up.
