Stormy Weather

The darned storm definitely hit. 30+ mph wind and driving rain...my car was fishtailing and sliding on the highway today so I'm glad that I have really fast reflexes. I really hope that all of this bad weather calms down a little by tomorrow. Some squelchy kids came into my room today, dripping and muttering. I think I'll bring the original Star Wars movie to school this week in case we're all stuck inside at lunch. Apparently, many of the kids haven't seen the original. Sheesh.

The monarch butterflies have begun to return to Santa Cruz, which is a good thing all around. I hope they're okay in this storm, though.

Lots of papers to grade by tonight and grades to get in, as I have to sit through a day-long training/meeting. Wheee.

And now that I'm looking at my icon, I need to buy pomegranates today. :)
