comic books and whimpering
May. 6th, 2012 04:32 pmWell, at least the first part of yesterday was fun. Free Comic Book Day (got the comics for my kids at school - and well, for me - and my daughter got hers and we both got a comic book artist's autograph/sketch) and finding a really great version of Don Quixote for kids so one of my students and probably my own kid can read it (with a Teacher Appreciation discount, so cheaper than I thought!)
Then I spent 12 hours with some sort of mild stomach bug. Mild, but annoying. The sucky part was missing "Avengers", which we had tickets to see. So daughter and husband went today and I'll go on my own in a couple of days. Sigh. Still tired, now, but better, and waiting for "Sherlock" Season 2 to premiere on PBS. I will be eating REALLY boring food today and tomorrow, though.
