songspinnerWhew. My parents and his parents and my sister all over for dinner. The incredible "expanding soup" recipe is still a good one to know, apparently, and all were full and content between that and the apple cobbler. There was even a minimum of stress tonight. Sort of.
And my parents-in-law left early to hurry back to the Bay Area, because apparently, by tomorrow morning, I'll be an aunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

llinos and marigoldg...the card arrived this afternoon from across the ocean and put a big smile on my face. I needed that. Knitted Merry and Knitted Pippin were a big hit in my household today and the card is displayed prominently in the living room. :)
