Yay! My bookstore order arrived yesterday, late afternoon. The first of the "Moomintroll" books (translated from the originals from Finland), to be read to my daughter at bedtime. I grew up with these and couldn't find them in any of the second-hand bookstores around here, and was pleased to see a reprint. I think that this is the fun of reading to one's child - rediscovering old favorites. We're currently reading the third "Oz" book, and my husband is enjoying trying to do a variety of voices (his college degree in theater must be good for something just now!)

My little darling has two birthday parties to go to today. Whew. And then she and I will go to one that has a Celtic music session as part of it, so that will be nice. And then we'll fall over. :)
