Um, sort of stunned. From total panic attacks about money and mortgages and insurance to finding out that two principals I saw for interviews want to hire me. ???!!!!! I have to decide? Well, actually, I think I want the middle school position. I'm not sure that I have the patience for high schoolers full time, and many are taller than I am.

So now I wait for the HR guy to call and offer officially (I've not been "wined and dined" like that in years by a potential employer - not actual food and drink, just lots of honesty and compliments and potential support).
I did wait until I got into the car in the school parking lot before shrieking in glee....

Life is a bit less scary just now.

I chose the middle school, as my visit to the high school in question made me remember both why I didn't want to teach high school students (no offense, dear...) and why that wasn't the right place for me. I am pretty sure I'll be teaching 7th grade, but I'll find out for sure this week when I have five tons of paperwork and all that. When we see each other (SOON?!) I'll give details. :)
