Dec. 8th, 2008 05:34 pmOh, goodness. I am so tired right now. Every joint hurts, I have papers to grade tonight, and lessons to plan, and a rehearsal to go to first. Ow.
The gig yesterday was absolutely amazing - a collaboration with a world-renowned math professor, a dance and math professor, and my singing group. Interpreting equations into music and dance, and working with an electronic music guy whose last performance of music using programmed cell phones (no, really!) was in Finland. Yes, it was an odd a process as it sounds, but the results were really interesting. There were around 200 people in the audience and they were rather fascinated by the show. We'll be on radio again soon, since an NPR guy was there to record, so I'll post details when I know. 7:15 a.m. sound check, though...bleh.
Getting over a nasty head-cold, which has made performing and singing more of a challenge than usual. I really wish the parents at our school would stop sending their kids to school sick, 'cause they're sharing the germs.
