Still somewhat sick but getting better. Pretty much lazed around today, geeking and doing laundry and stuff, as the house was quiet with husband at work and daughter in another city for four more days. Yikes!

Best friend called, confirming that I would not, and had better not, be going to rehearsal tonight. Also, she said, "So let's just do that song that is driving you nuts a key lower than we've been doing it. Would that work?" I just sat there and said "Um, yes, please?!" It's been annoying me all week, as I recorded the solo in the usual key last week and did NOT like how it sounded. (it's right in the middle of my break, which probably only makes sense to fellow singers) So I feel better about that, too.

Many teeny spring peeper frogs in my daughter's fishtank right now, and more to metamorphose by the time she returns. I think we shall be having a release party for the froglets at the pond next week with some of her friends.
