Silly movies and such

songspinnerIn the continuing saga of corrupting my child in a good way, she is sitting on the couch right now with her dad watching "The Princess Bride" for the first time. Hooo-boy. There is a great deal of giggling going on...
I really wish I'd been near the governor when he visited the firefighters' camp yesterday, if only to glare daggers at him. It's really hard to set up lesson plans when I'm trying to scrounge odds and ends for supplies for things. Frozen school budgets are not a good thing.
It's still smoky around here, but not as bad as Friday. But staying inside is probably a good thing. I shall probably pick up some dust masks to keep with me just in case.
Also, and randomly, blackberries picked and eaten still warm from the sun are yummy.
