Family visits and curtains...

I dropped the drill with the screwdriver bit at my parents' condo and ended up helping to put up the new curtains and rods. Better me than my father, I suppose, up the ladder. It ended up looking pretty decent, though.
Farmer's market was certainly busy and I actually got some errands run today.
This is, so far, a lousy week for allergies in our family. The temperature dropped the other day, and I went and bought a long-sleeved t-shirt to put under my short-sleeved one right before rehearsal; apparently, I am more sensitive to formaldehyde than I used to be, and my arms became all lumpy with hives for 24 hours. I will be double-washing new clothes from now on. And now my daughter is having what I call a "skin migraine", where it feels like all the nerve endings that can itch are randomly firing all over your body for an hour or two. Bleh.
So we're all staying up watching Larry King get really nervous as Jack Hannah puts an alligator on his desk. :) He's freaked out about at least five of the animals visiting so far...my daughter rolls her eyes at most of those moments. The screech owl was adorable, and now we're waiting to see the baby sloth.
There will be sleeping late tomorrow and then lots of cooking.
