songspinnerAside from getting over a really annoying cold (I wished in vain that my family might avoid sharing theirs....sigh), a reasonably good day.
I got to attend a "book swap" at my local synagogue - I brought in a small bag of books on Thursday and then today, for only a few dollars given to charity, I could take as many books as I needed. !!!!
Which, in case you're wondering was a medium-sized grocery bag full. Some good fiction and some good research material, too, including several books I had been thinking about buying. A fun morning activity, if you ask me!
I'm slightly weirded out by the early spring weather in January in this part of CA just now - I keep expecting to suddenly have the opposite, considering the posts by friends and family back East.
