My students were wonky.
My boss had to give me a letter from the school district confirming my pink slip (and over half my department got them). I'll probably be hired back (lots of positions and my boss really, really wants me back), but now I'm in limbo AGAIN. Waiting. Not being able to plan anything for my family, for my kid's summer. For the future. It could be as soon as two weeks from now that I get information or sometime over the summer. Now that they've met this deadline, they don't have one for the next step. Convenient for them, huh? I'm just tired of this. I have tenure, and it didn't count. How does that work? I don't get it. The district does not get it, in any way, shape, or form, how this affects everyone. So the last several weeks of school will have horrible morale, tons of stress, and people potentially losing jobs and friends. I'm just tired.
