In line at a drugstore today, still fuming over the news about the ultrasound law signed by the Governor of Virginia, I stood there and heard two college guys behind me using 20 kinds of derogatory language about women that I will not repeat or type here. I finally just turned around and said "Look, would you mind not using that language about women here? It's really insulting and offensive." The woman in front of me in line turned and added "You're not gonna get many dates that way, you know. Not much of a loss for women." While she and I (and the male cashier) cracked up, the two young men switched lines. :)
