(no subject)

Weird Day.

Good things?
- hugs from daughter
- reasonably pain-free dental appointment this afternoon
- not having to go to the staff meeting for an hour and a half because it's all about next year
and my boss agreed that I wasn't gonna miss anything important
- lots of people marching downtown for immigrants' rights
- daughter's awed face when the firetruck and paramedics arrived to help a marcher who fainted
(and five minutes in the car of "I'm going to be a firefighter when I grow up. Or a policewoman
or something that lets me people.") :)

Less Good Things?
- some jerk throwing coffee at the immigrants' rights marchers...maturity and brain use? Nah...
- trying not to wonder about how the job interview really went
- my diabetic mother having some stomach virus thing (I'm trying hard not to worry)
- waking up to the local headline that some supremacist group planted a bomb and sprayed graffiti at a high school (just applied there for a job, too, but I already knew those guys were around)

I suppose the good outweighed the bad, but still. I need a nap.
