(no subject)

Heh...it was an official email, not a call (ah, technology...), but I am definitely hired for this coming school year. And hopefully a few more after that. I don't want to go through all this again any time soon.

My doc took one look at my feet today at my appointment and said, "yup, bunions - here's a referral". Which as usual, was nigh unreadable. Fortunately, the other guy's office was used to that and apparently recognized the unreadability as his writing. :) I really, really want something other than surgery right now. That would not be good. But less pain would be good.

Me: "So it's across the street and down two buildings?"
Doc: "Yeah, so you could just walk over there now."
Me: "Slowly."
Doc: "Um...slowly and limping?"
Me: "Gee, thanks." (grins back at him, daughter giggles)

I have a mountain of papers to grade. Writing perhaps tomorrow? And some sewing? Perhaps.
