*THUD*

I'm done teaching summer school for this year. 14 kids, three grades, one room, two subjects per grade.
Thanked my classroom aide profusely (and then the kids tackle-hugged him).

Now on to dealing with the house, which, in part, is literally in pieces as they redo the siding, windows, doors, and other things.

Three more days, perhaps, of living with my parents while all that is going on. I suspect that will be about as long as we can all be in the same place for that long. Not that we don't love each other, mind you, but you know how it goes... :)

And now, to try to fill the two weeks of vacation I actually have with family, rehearsals, writing
(Yes, marigoldg, I will do the next challenge this time!), and getting a book proposal ready for a teacher's publishing company.
