(at the dinner table while having cake afterward...)

Dad: "So is there any new science fiction on Scifi on Fridays now?"

Me: "It's all repeats. Except for Dr. Who."

Dad: "When are they supposed to get a new Doctor?"

My sister: (chokes slightly on her cake and coughs for two minutes)

Me: "Not any time soon."

Sister: "OMG! Don't scare me like that!"

Me: "Some of us need our weekly dose of Tennant."

Dad: (rolls his eyes while my husband cracks up)
