Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it, my dears.

Things for which I am thankful this morning as I laze around the house for an hour...

1. Family - that my parents and sister are all healthy enough to be here with us this week.

2. Daughter - she's thriving and becoming a wonderful little human being of whom I am proud.

3. This beautiful place I live, with the forest up the hill and the ocean a few blocks away.

4. My job - it's a challenge, teaching teenagers, but a welcome challenge.

5. My husband's job - he's truly happy at work for the first time a very, very long time.

6. My friend's recovery from scary medical crises - hope he never scares us like that again.

9. Fandom and my f-list. Sometimes you guys help keep me sane.
