Dec. 25th, 2007 10:16 amHoliday stuff...
Grandma D took us to see the Nutcracker ballet in S.F., complete with the little one dressing up (my sweetie got all dressed up, too) and dinner at David's Deli after.
One-week-late Hannukah dinner now that my sister is here, with presents and latkes (yum - and damn, my husband is a good cook). Between sister and our parents, we now have the first two seasons of Dr. Who on dvd. Glee!
My darling, 1 year old niece was miserable yesterday during my husbands' family's thing, as she was teething and spitting up and just all around not happy with life. Sigh. But presents were exchanged and a good dinner was had. Family friend gave my daughter a goose wind-toy (kite?) and I think he played with it on the front lawn more than she did... :)
Plans now? Two weeks of cleaning up the house and hanging with my family. And then one week where I am the only one home, since we have one more week in my school district - we started a week earlier. Hmmmm...projects. Lots of writing and sewing. One afternoon of beadwork with my lil' sister, and some music recording to help her out with a project.
Finally starting to relax.
