Good stuff?

The new book-at-bedtime is "The Book of Three" by Lloyd Alexander! Time for the next generation in the family to get this one...lots of nostalgia on my part, as it was the first fantasy book I ever read (the one that eventually led me to Tolkien) and sparked my interest in Celtic mythology.

There is a small cake flavored with cinnamon in the oven just now, and I haven't had sweets in a week. So, yum.

Torchwood Season 2 starts soon. And RTD and the writing team may have just gotten some clues, according to all the interviews I've watched on youtube this week. I hope someone puts it online, 'cause I don't want to know how BBC American is going to censor the heck out of it.

Not good stuff?

Our teacher work day turned out to be an all-day workshop, with no time allowed for getting ready for tomorrow, which is when the kids come back after winter vacation. ??????? Who planned that one? I'm going to be up doing stuff late tonight. And they turned on the heaters at school after three weeks of buildup of pollen and mold and all kinds of crud, so I'm tired, achy, and wheezy.

I am skipping my music group's planning session tonight and planning for my classes tomorrow. And then sleep.
