So the pink slip was retrieved from the post office (was that the school district making things harder or something?) The union wants paperwork NOW (so that's at least two extra trips somewhere tomorrow afternoon altogether) so there will be proper representation and back-up. And the district doesn't have to decide anything final until May. So we wait? Nice, people. I don't know yet whether I need to start looking or not.
Daughter's test results are okay so far, other than intestinal issues. To put it politely, things aren't moving when they should. The celiac panel isn't back yet, and at least the pediatrician said that the cysts weren't anything to worry about - just normal estrogen spikes. So once I call the companies that make them to find out if they contain gluten or milk, new meds this weekend while staying at home, and hoping this does it and she'll not be in pain starting in a few days. At least tomorrow's the last day before spring break.
My students are already pretty much on vacation mentally, but they have a test tomorrow morning (I know, I'm an evil teacher!) that will keep them focused for at least that long.
