(no subject)

Still alive. I've survived teaching summer school combined with one solid week of teacher training that I signed up for at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. That last part was fun, at least! I don't want to do summer school next summer, though, if I can help it. It doesn't feel like I accomplished much at all; not enough time and too much interference from the kids with behavior issues and bad stuff going on at home.

I'm actually on vacation now, officially. Three whole weeks before I'm back in the classroom. Sigh.

I'm currently watching Torchwood with my husband bit by bit so he's all caught up before the Doctor Who season finale airs here. :) It's fun finally seeing it on a regular-sized screen instead of a little bitty Youtube screen, which was the only way I could see it before. And what's really weird is that my father likes the show as well. ?!?!? I'm still trying to wrap my brain around that one. *giggle*
