Sep. 8th, 2008 11:16 pmOkay. Ow.
Apparently, I leaned on a frackin' countertop at the pediatrician's office, a countertop that had been recently cleaned with really harsh chemicals. Makes sense for a doctor's office, except that four hours later, I developed welts/hives starting from my elbows part of the way up my arm and started having a systemic skin reaction. Which for those of you who aren't chemically sensitive to the point of being a "canary in the mines", to quote my mom, means that one's skin feels like it's crawling or as though someone is randomly poking you with pins.
Huzzah for antihistamines.
I need a body that looks like the one I have now but that WORKS properly.
And clearly, I am done with trying to grade students' papers tonight. At least I got through my rehearsal tonight before it got bad.
