Methinks that the guy who's coordinating the big performance coming up this weekend has forgotten what it's like to not be a dancer or singer 100% of the time. The teachers and moms and nurses and office workers were really, really tired today after the rehearsal went probably two hours past when we'd been told. Yikes. And tomorrow is likely to be the same. (going to be early tonight...) 9:30 p.m. is a hard time to keep accurate drum rhythms and steady pitches when not prepared to do so.

Finished 70 class placement cards this afternoon so someone can begin to figure out which of my students will be in what classes next year.

Fresh strawberries on sale at the health food market downtown was a welcome end to my working day, and now I'm off to catch up on grading...
