nature in my yard
Jan. 9th, 2011 10:39 amThe other day -
5:30 p.m.
(daughter and husband come in the door snickering and snorting)
Me: Um, yes?
Husband: Well, that peregrine falcon came back.
Daughter: It got a dove! Right there! In front of us!
Husband: We were watching the doves and then there was this swoosh (gestures)
and a sudden explosion of feathers and it was just gone!
Daughter: And its mate was right there. Very sad.
Me: Everything's gotta eat, you know.
Daughter: I know. But....POOF! (giggles)
