So my husband goes to pick up our daughter from daycare after school. He gets to the play room and sees her scoot inside a curtained "fort" the kids had built, and stands outside it and calls her name. A moment later, a small hand pops out holding out a note, which says in 2nd grade printing "I Do Not want to go Home Now."

As he stood there laughing, one of her friends hands him a note and explains that he needs to sign a note before he can take her home. That note says a "parrot" must sign it. She was confused when he said that he couldn't as he didn't have any wings and had she meant parent? :)
