songspinnerA truly horrible day punctuated by fun bits.
Kids giving me presents and hugs before they took off on vacation was nice. Gee, how did they know I like to read? :) 5 gift certificates to bookstores. Some cool swag, as my husband says...and a pair of fuzzy socks...
Taking my child to a rollerskating party this afternoon (what were those parents thinking?!) and getting a small migraine was not nice.
Having her class pets home with us for two weeks will be interesting.
Knowing twice today that I was doing something that way in that place for the last time and how much I will miss it was harder than I thought it would be, and fighting back tears and some anger at the two people responsible more than once was not helping me balance out my day. "Why yes, this expression on my face all afternoon is really happy and yes, this acting training I got for six years really works wonders, why do you ask?"
