Mar. 1st, 2007 06:16 pmSo the state of CA wants more paperwork than I thought. Joy. I don't have to fill it out myself, but I have to make sure two other people in two different cities do fill it out and get it back to me, and they still won't process this stuff completely for up to nine months, apparently. Go figure. I'll be job hunting with a note on my resume that says that the paperwork got filed but the state is still digesting it?
And the federal government makes no sense sometimes. I'm trying to figure out tax deductions for gluten-free foods etc. and the online IRS website says that the special food is only deductible if "The food does not satisfy normal nutritional needs". Right. Translation? Logic? I'm going to ask my mother to check with her tax guy. This is silly. I actually called the IRS and the guy on the phone who works there couldn't actually tell me what that line meant. Not a good sign.
I'm not sure if the aforementioned crap is what's causing my headache or if it's my sinuses, but this hurts. And I have not a single painkiller I know of that's safe for me just now, as Tylenol has added something to which I am allergic. Today is not the time to try something new, as I have to teach all day tomorrow, and cramps at the same time. Joy. Anyone know of a place to get a new body? One that works?
I'll stop whining now, sorry. Long day.
