Sighing and Sewing

songspinnerHi...still here. Just really, really tired just now.
School is okay but hectic, and we're trying to juggle my husband's teaching with mine and then with my daughter's schedule. Yikes!
We scored a Hogwarts robe at the thrift store with the Gryffindor logo on it, which was lovely. I'll make my little witch her wand before Samhain arrives.
Faire on Saturday with my best friend so that will be nice. And my raspberry linen kirtle fit after I (and my husband) got the corset to fit correctly (that part looked suspiciously like the scene from 'Gone with the Wind' - you know the one?). I think I'll add the blackwork trim that's sitting in my sewing box to the edges of the partlet...sometime after I finish my daughter's garb. And trim my straw hat with some of the feathers that random peacocks left in my best friend's yard this year. My husband is off to Outdoor World for grommets.
It's a good thing that Supernatural is premiering tonight - I'll be up sewing!
