Oct. 25th, 2007 06:38 pmAaaargh. Those who were great students today - great. Those who were wonky? Really, really wonky. I started out the day, though, with a typed note from a student, that read "Dear Mrs. ... I am really sorry for being rood." I managed not to laugh until I was out of the room. :) And yes, he's in my English class. Sigh.
My royal Byzantine costume (or late Roman if I can't get the other bits done) is partly finished. As mine is needing repairs, I am currently using my daughter's little pink sewing machine for long seams. Go ahead and laugh... I'll report with pictures when everything's complete, as well as daughter's costume.
And for those who need another giggle - the weirdest traffic updates I've yet heard on my commute, and both within the last two weeks:
#1 - "There is a spilled truck of broccoli on the highway."
#2 - "...two goats and three horses on the road."
Ooooookay....
