Wow...gig got canceled so my sweetie and our little imp and I went downtown to get the last few presents we needed. Actually found all of them, including a couple of things we didn't expect (I found this wonderfully fuzzy and warm sweater from England in a consignment shop in a deep muted set of blue/green shades). And a bit of whining of "but Mama..." when something interesting was seen. :)

Crisp, cold day out, clear and with lots of twittering birds. We ate outside on Pacific Ave., munching on things from the natural foods store.

Off to make a bunch of bookmarks as prizes for my students...
