This and that...and baby spiders

songspinnerHuh. Allergies and systemic reaction crashed my immune system and I got a 24 hour cold-bug. Darn it. So resting, sniffling a bit, and possibly watching something sci-fi-ish on dvd.
So daughter and husband are off soon to have dinner at the beach, for some bonding time.
And spring is in our yard, all right - borage flowers bloomed this week, tons of seedlings, and there was a whole nest of teeny, tiny, baby garden spiders hatching this morning, all in a ball in the web on a bush. Really cute and all bright yellow. Huge spiders that are black? I don't get along with those (why my husband is reading that scene in "The Hobbit" out loud and not me), but baby garden spiders are fun. Eat those aphid pests, please, little spiderlings?
