The Opening Ceremonies from Beijing were just wonderfully creative! And I swear, I could use that artistic/historical bit for my history class this year when we get to ancient China...

My only quibble was with NBC - have they not learned in eight years to NEVER NEVER do a camera shot of George Bush during a long ceremony?! The man looked bored almost every time, fidgeting and looking annoyed just like one of my teenage students during a long assembly. Sheesh. Embarrassing.

WEll what can ya do? The man is a moron. There must have been some Republican diehards that paid the tv time for NBC to show him. I certainly didn't want to see his insipid face during those ceremonies.
